[1] Avoid stuffing your washer with excessive amount of clothes. Two things usually occur as a result of this: [a] Your stained clothes will not be properly washed. Clothes stained with oil or other similar stubborn liquids may still show the stain marks after washing and drying. I don’t know about you, but I really hate that. [b] Stuffing your washer excessively can also overwork the agitator in the washer that beats out the dirt. A breakdown could occur easily. [2] Okay this second tip only applies to men who do laundry. It’s a very simple one–separate the white clothes from the colored ones to avoid discoloring your white clothes! Sometimes scrambled white and colored clothes come out okay, but after some time, the white ones looses that bright glow color. [3] Check your pockets for papers, pens, markers, and the like. You will not be a happy person when you start taking those clothes out to dry them and you find out such things were hidden in them. [4] I usually recommend liquid detergents for a good wash. The powdered ones don’t often dissolve well and sometimes get trapped somewhere in the clothes. [5] If you can afford it, get a high efficiency washer. These types of appliances use energy and water very economically and still produce desired outcomes. [6] To conserve energy, use hot or warm water for washing and use cold water for rinsing. [7] Use a ”gentle wash settings” for fragile clothing like nylon.

TIPS FOR Drying your clothes:

[1] Before transferring your water squeezed wet clothes, take each one out, spread them and shake them up well. Don’t place them inside the dryer in bulky shapes. [2] See that your clothes aren’t too soaked with water. Make sure they get a good spin in the washer. Once you transfer your wet clothes to your dryer, add about 2 dry towels in there, set and hit the start button. The dry towels will absorb water to help speed up the drying process. [3] Silks don’t need much heat to dry so set the temperature to medium or low. [4] Always check your lint filter and clean it out before drying. Link filers a placed where they’re quite easy to remove and replace back again. Try these laundry tips and recommend them to others at home to avoid laundry dissapointemts.
