Return Policy
A receipt and return authorization is required for all returns, exchanges and refunds. Items must be in new condition and in the original packaging to qualify for a refund and refunds will be issued in the same form of payment as the original payment. Refunds, exchanges and re-selections are issued once the item is received and inspected.
- Delivery is a service and the delivery fee is non-refundable. If any merchandise is exchanged because "it didn't fit" an additional delivery and removal fee will be charged.
- All cancelled orders and/or returned merchandise will be charged a 30% restocking fee. The restocking fee will be deducted from the refund amount.
- Custom order items are not eligible for return.
- Orders cannot be cancelled once they have shipped. If the delivery is refused customer is responsible for all shipping fees associated with the order.
- Mattresses, Mattress Foundations, Bedding and/or Miscellaneous Mattress/Bedding accessories are not eligible for return.
- Appliance and Mattress Center does not accept returns for any item that has been installed, used or plugged in. All items must be like-new, in original packaging.
- Appliance and Mattress Center reserves the right to refuse returns for any reason.
- We are not responsible for any installation or shipping charges when Appliances & Mattress Center/manufacturer authorize a Return Merchandise Authorization on a unit.
- Any product that has been installed or has attempted to be installed cannot be returned. Returned products must be in brand-new condition with all packaging, product literature and blank warranty cards enclosed in the exact condition in which received.
*Special orders are defined as merchandise available from the manufacturer, but not in-stock at Appliances & Mattress Center, specifically selected by the customer.

We took down our microwave and replaced it with a counter one so we could have a fully functioning fan. We could not have it vented, it is a recycling air. Wow what a difference to have that space and the fan is so much more powerful than those that come with the microwave. Love it.

Just installed this week and the appearance looks great in the kitchen. Very quiet not much noise when running. Two lights which enables us to actually see our food being cooked much clearer. Also the low beam light is used as our night light :)

We have had a terrible time installing and replacing the light bulbs. It's hard to get them in and then they have fallen out, leaving glass on the stove and floor. The fan was very noisy because of vibration, but we finally got everything wedged in the spaces.

Living in San Francisco, you come across old apartment buildings. Our kitchen didn't come with a vent hood and this was my favorite purchase that we made for our apartment. I highly recommend this range hood in particular. It installed quickly and easily with no problems in under 1 hour. Even ductless, this hood helps remove the grease and smell of cooking, even bacon! Especially for a first purchase of an appliance as a renter, this is the way to go.

I love this range hood as it matches well with my new GE range. The only problem I've had is finding the charcoal filter for in house air filtration and circulation. They are out of stock at GE and every vendor I checked.

Do NOT buy this GE Under the Cabinet Hood (GE-JVX5300DJWW). Changing the "GU10" lightbulb is a HUGE PAIN in the derrière!!! I've been through this twice now, and I do not want others to have the same frustrating experience. This time I spent 4 hours trying to get a replacement "GU10" lightbulb to work. I give up! Now I must call the electrician, who installed the the range hood, to put in a lightbulb. That will cost me at least $100!!! I curse the engineer, who designed this GE range hood, and I curse GE for manufacturing it.

I like the profile and lighting. I changed the bulbs to LED lamps to reduce the heat and it's impact on the socket over time. Changing the bipin bulbs is not easy. Unable to grasp bulb for turning. Good thing that LED bulbs have a long life. Lighting has 2 setting choices and the fan has 4 setting choices. Love the quiet operation.
