A receipt and return authorization is required for all returns, exchanges and refunds. I love my dishwasher. This is my second LG dishwasher. The first was great but I didnt like the top control panel under the cabinet. So this one has the front controls So much better for large fingers like mine and my husbands. Both have the third rack which I love for sharp knifes. I dont think I ever want a dishwasher without a third rack again. Bought at Lowes

I am so very pleased with this Dishwasher I did a lot of research before purchasing and this LG Model lives up to its reputation. I purchased the Print-free Stainless and it is a show stopper just a beautiful exterior. It is so easy to load and fit items in the dishwasher. I love the extra third rack for small items. I have no worries filling it to capacity as it cleans everything well. Yet the best feature is that it is whisper quiet. Im so used to sound that I have to check to make sure its on - thats how quiet it is. Great purchase. And the price was competitive as well.

We have lived in our house 55 years and had two dishwashers during this time until this past year I had to replace the second one. We bought the LG and are now sorry we did. It wasnt even one year old It broke down and it took THREE trips by the repairman to get it fixed. Each time ordering new parts for it. I am sure you can check your records for the parts he ordered to fix it. Each time having to reorder more parts. He must have changed every single part in it. After the second trip I asked for a new machine and was told the repairman would have to authorize that. No authorization was given - but more parts ordered and the THIRD repair made. I am 86 and my husband 94 and there we were eating out of paper plates and washing pots and pans etc. Down almost two weeks. Maybe we got the lemon but judging from the one we bought I would not recommend this machine to anyone.

I really like this dishwasher. It is quieter than my old one even though the decibel level is a bit higher. I like the top level for smaller things and miscellaneous utensils and it does a very good job cleaning dishes. It has a nice sleek look and I just bought a strong magnetic 12 rod to hang a dish towel on it. Overall perfect for my needs.

Bottom rack falls off track when loading/unloading. configuration terrible..not able to load efficiently or completely. Shelf adjustable but reduces capacity for one shelf or the other. Leaves dishes wet even when extra drying function used.
Only redeeming quality is that its very quiet. Terrible quality for the cost.

We purchased the dishwasher almost a month ago. It is quiet and I cant believe how clean it gets baked on food clean. Our old dishwasher I always made sure I scrubbed most of the food off. It averages about 2 hours and 23 minutes from start to finish.
The only thing I can complain about is I wish in the middle of the bottom rack there wasnt a large space between the uprights that holds dishes. Sometimes we need that space for dishes and bowls. Other than that LG needs to come up with a way we can change the music on all their appliances

I purchased this dishwasher last month. The bottom rack is horrible. It goes off track when you pull it out whether its empty or loaded. I even tried balancing the load on both sides. The control panel is ultra sensitive. We constantly turned it on by brushing against it. I do not recommend this dishwasher.

Sorry I was gifted this dishwasher from my children it has a flaw within the dishwasher. The bottom rack comes off the track because the wheels arent placed wide enough apart. If the wheels were extended out 1/4 inch on each side they might would track better. Even more difficult when loaded with dishes. I was sent another rack but the same.

I am sorry I got this dishwasher as a gift from my children. The bottom rack slides on rollers with too much of a gap that the rack comes off the rail and if its full of dishes it is more difficult to get back on. If the rollers were 1/4 inch outward on both sides I think that might help keep the rack on.

Poor design with the buttons on the very front of the dishwasher. If you happen to lean against it it will turn on. Not a good thing if it is running and you lean against it as it will shut off. You have to start the cycle all over again Buttons should have been tucked away at the top of the door facing the ceiling to avoid this. This has happened to me numerous times. Otherwise it cleans dishes well and is quiet. Just dislike the front buttons always turning on or off.

We purchased this washer back in July from Costco.Com to replace and upgrade our machine that was about eleven years old. A few days after ordering this washer our old unit had the handle break so it was really time to upgrade. The Costco ordering process was really simple and included delivery and install and haul away the old unit. The price was really good.
The washer is working very well and is much more quiet than the old one. It also cleans better and seems to use less energy. The only problem we have found is the hardware basket is very large and takes up a lot of space and we do not have enough to fill it. The lower rack also does not seem to have enough space for large pots especially with the hardware rack in place. So we have to take that out to wash a large pot. So all in all it was a really good improvement to our kitchen and we are very happy with the LG Washer. We also have a LG Gas Range that we purchased about seven years ago and it is really good also.

I am very unhappy about your customer service reps. One rep suggested vinegar with heavy scrup but didnt work. The next one asked about video which I sent weeks ago but no response. I bought it last November 2022 and it covered by warrenty. I am going to return it through the vendor Costco if you dont send us a technician in a week or so. Thanks.

I have lived with my new dishwasher for 1 month. This is what I think of my 4542S. It is expensive and does not do a good job in cleaning dishes. Tea stains are still in my cups after the normal cycle. This dishwasher does run very quiet and it was very difficult trying to connect it to wifi. The customer support was pretty much useless. I was on hold for 5 minutes until I was cut off by them. It was like she was watching the youtube videos and then attempting to help me from that.

Its definitely a major part which doesnt seem to be available. The mistake I seemed to have made was not purchasing a machine that has parts made in the USA. The repairman said it takes 3-5 days to get the part its now over a week.

This LG dishwasher is fairly quiet it does in fact dry the dishes when you use the heat cycle. It does help to run the hot water to the sink first and also to use Jet-Dry. Dishes come out great.

Usually love LG products but dont buy this dishwasher Purchased this dishwasher in April 2023. The first problem is the rollers on the bottom rackhalf of the time it falls off of the track and it is hard to get in and out. The design of the bottom rack doesnt seem very logical and it is hard to organize dishes with an extra space where dishes fall throughalmost like its missing a row of prongs to hold plates. I dont love how the top rack loads either. The dishwasher also does not dry well even though we use the extra dry cycle that takes 3 hours to wash and dry the dishes. We still have to hand dry several of dishes. The dishwasher turns on easily even if you just brush up against the Power button when youre not meaning to turn it on. Does it wash the dishesyes but if you have another option I would choose the other option if I had to do it over. Definitely would not buy again and would NOT recommend to others either SUPER DISAPPOINTED with this dishwasher.

I bought this dishwasher 3 weeks ago. The bottom rack is not very sturdy. You have to pull it out gently or it jumps off the track. Starting the dishwasher takes pushing 3 buttons at the right sequence or it will not start. This has to be done within 4 seconds or the dishwasher will not start. The display panel is very hard to read. At the end of the wash cycle the dishwasher chimes to let you know the wash is done. This is very annoying. This feature can be turned off for each load but again it is a series of buttons to push at the same time. There were no provisions made for securing the dishwasher on the sides of the dishwasher. We could not use the brackets supplied for top installation as we have a granite counter top.

Normally Im not reviewing anything but this time my experience was so bad that I feel the obligation to warn others.
This dishwasher was breaking since the moment we got it and with the LG warranty the consumer service just kept repairing it until the warranty was over and i had to buy a new one.
Just save yourself and buy something else. Anything else. Or just hand wash your dishes because this thing doesnt work.
